How it works
Your letters are checked against a dictionary of real words of 3 to 7 letters. A word shows up when your letters can spell it, each letter used once.
Words come in the order people use them, so the ones you know come first. Tap a word to read its meaning in Wiktionary.
It is the dictionary of Tomewick, our word connect game, so names, abbreviations and rude words are not in it.
Questions
- Can I use a blank tile?
- Yes. Type ? for each blank. A blank stands for any one letter, so DO?R finds DOOR and DOER.
- Which words are in the dictionary?
- Common words of 3 to 7 letters, without names, abbreviations or rude words: about 23,000 in English.
- Does it help with other word games?
- It helps in any game where you make words from a set of letters: word connect, anagrams, crosswords or letter tiles. It is smaller than a tournament word list, so a rare word may be missing.
- Does it work in other languages?
- Yes, in eight: English, Indonesian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Turkish and Russian. Pick one under Dictionary.
