Lotuswick
Mahjong solitaire by lantern light
Match two free tiles and lift them off the stack. A tile is free when nothing lies on it and its left or right side is open. Every deal can be cleared, and nothing counts down while you think.

Flowers match flowers. Seasons match seasons.
Most tiles pair with their twin. The eight bonus tiles are the exception: any flower goes with any flower, any season with any season, and a frame in the colour of the group shows which is which. They join from level 21, once the plain suits feel familiar.
- 1000 levels in 50 chapters
- A new daily board every day
- Three stars for a clear without help
- Hints and shuffles for a tight spot

- Tiles you can read
- A tile on a phone is about as wide as a pencil. So each suit tile shows one large numeral and the emblem of its suit: canes for bamboo, a coin for circles, a seal for characters. Nobody counts sticks.
- Every deal has a way out
- Boards are dealt by taking pairs off a full table, so the order they came off is always a solution. Paint yourself into a corner anyway and a shuffle deals again what is left.
- Streaks and echoes
- Each pair in a row is worth a little more, up to double. Take a pair of the same kind as the one before, an echo, and it starts at twice the points.
