How it works
The words are drawn from 3,000 common words of 4 to 10 letters in the language you pick, then placed at random. The letters around them are drawn as often as the language uses them, so the grid does not give the words away.
Print prints the puzzle alone, in black and white, on A4 or Letter. Tick the answer key and it follows on its own page.

- Is it free to print?
- Yes. Make and print as many puzzles as you like, for a class, a family or yourself. No sign-up.
- Can I use my own words?
- Yes. Type them under Your own words. A word longer than the grid is left out and named, so you can pick a bigger grid.
- What do the directions mean?
- Easy places words across and down. Medium adds the diagonals. Hard uses all eight directions, backwards too.
- Which languages can I use?
- English, Indonesian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Turkish and Russian. Pick one under Dictionary, or type words in any of them.
