Nonograms to print, or to solve right here.

The numbers say how many squares in a row or column are filled, block by block. Fill them in and a pattern appears. Every grid is new and logic alone solves it.

How to solve a nonogram

Each number is a block of filled squares, in order, with at least one empty square between two blocks. A row with the clue 3 1 holds a block of three, a gap, then a single square.

Start with the long blocks: in a row of 10, a block of 7 must cover the middle four squares wherever it sits. Cross out the squares that cannot be filled, then work the columns with what the rows gave you.

These grids are grown the way Quiltwick, our nonogram game, grows its quilts: symmetric patches, repaired until line logic alone solves them. You never have to guess.

Questions

Is it free to print?
Yes. Print as many as you like, for yourself or a class. No sign-up.
What do the sizes mean?
Easy is 10×10, Medium 15×15, Hard 20×20 and Expert 25×25. Bigger grids have longer clues and more steps between them.
Does every puzzle have one solution?
Yes. Each grid is checked: reasoning one row or column at a time fills all of it, so it has exactly one solution and never needs a guess.
Can I solve it on screen?
Yes. Tap squares to fill them, switch to Cross out to mark empty ones. The page tells you when every clue is right.
