How it works

The puzzles come from the bank of Sudowick, our sudoku game: grids rated by the hardest technique a person needs, from singles to the swordfish. Each one is shuffled into a new grid with the same logic, so no two prints are alike.

Print prints the grids alone, in black and white, on A4 or Letter. Tick the answers and they follow on their own page.

Questions

Is it free to print?
Yes. Print as many as you like, for yourself, a class or a club. No sign-up.
What do the levels mean?
Easy needs only singles. Medium needs pointing and claiming. Hard needs pairs and triples. Expert needs X-wings, XY-wings or a swordfish. No level needs guessing.
Does every puzzle have one solution?
Yes. Every grid is checked to have exactly one solution, reachable by logic alone.
Can I play a puzzle on screen?
Yes. Open it in the solver to type in your numbers and ask for a hint when you are stuck.
